Competition History

Welcome to the history page of the Master Apprentice Competition (MAC). This annual event celebrates the top Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers apprentices from across the United States and Canada.

The MAC has a storied history of recognizing and rewarding excellence. Each year, apprentices compete in local and conference contests, with winners advancing to the international stage. This competition not only tests their knowledge and hands-on abilities through a rigorous written exam and practical insulation mock-up but also honors those who excel with prestigious awards and opportunities.
