Structure
8-hour introductory course on 3D printing from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Overview
This is an 8-hour introductory course on 3D printing, designed to provide participants with a comprehensive, hands-on understanding of the process — from initial setup to producing finished prints. The course will cover the following key areas:
- Printer Setup: Step-by-step guidance on assembling and preparing a 3D printer for operation, including calibration and material loading.
- Maintenance: Best practices for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting common issues, and ensuring long-term printer performance.
- Elegoo Software: Instruction on using Elegoo slicing software to prepare files, adjust print settings, and optimize print quality.
- 3D Design Software: An introduction to basic 3D modeling, enabling participants to create and modify their own printable designs.
- Q&A Session: An open discussion to address questions, reinforce learning, and provide additional insights.
By the end of the course, participants will have a solid foundation in 3D printing operations—from design through production — and the confidence to continue developing their skills.
